Emilio Ramírez Matos (Spain)
Dr. Emilio Ramírez Matos is a Spanish lawyer with over 25 years of experience, specializing in foreign law, civil law, and historical heritage. He holds a Doctor of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (cum laude) and additional training in criminology, canon law, and security management. Since 1999, he has managed his own firm, Ramírez & Crespo Asociados, advising institutions such as the Fundación Casa de Alba, the Museo del Palacio de Liria, and the Museo de las Dueñas, and has worked with diplomatic bodies including the Chinese Embassy in Spain.
Dr. Ramírez Matos is Vice-President of the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), an elected member of its Governing Board, and Chair of its Human Rights Observatory. He has been a professor at several universities, including URJC, IEB, the European University, and ISDE, where he directed the Master’s program in Foreign Law. He is also a frequent speaker and author on issues of nationality, family law, and technological transformation.
